Code Of Conduct Part 1

Members of the above club, by paying to become members, agree to:1. Abide by any club rules or decisions2. Obtain, either through the club or individually, Public Liability Insurance through the NCMD or FID3. Abide by the law as regards the Treasure Act and other laws relating to metal detecting and the finding of valuable items.4. Report any unusual historic finds to the Finds Liaison Officer at Liverpool Museum.5. NEVER detect on scheduled sites or other recognised ancient monuments.6. When detecting with the club or when otherwise representing the club:a)Dig and fill in holes correctly so as to leave as little mess as possible. Be particularly careful when digging on grass- ensure that turf is replaced (use the three sided hole method)
